Please include on a note, the name, address, and email of the donor(s), unless you would like to remain anonymous. If this is in honor of or in memory of an individual, please give their name, and give the name, address, and email (optional) to where the acknowledgement will be sent.
We are currently working on other payment options.
How do you spend my money?
All of your donation will go toward research into finding a cure for chronic granulomatous disease. We are especially interested in gene therapy or zinc finger nuclease research. Both of these areas could lead toward a cure for CGD. What’s more – this research may cure other diseases as well.
How do tribute gifts in honor or memory of someone get acknowledged?
CGDA will mail or email an acknowledgment letter to your designated tribute recipient or immediate family of a loved one informing them of your donation (the amount of the gift is not included). You will receive a gift receipt for income tax purposes. When making your donation online, please be certain to indicate whether your gift is in memory of or in honor of, and provide us with the appropriate way you would like your gift acknowledged (e.g., Mr. Smith, Grandpa Smith, John and Jane Doe, etc.).
Do you issue tax receipts for our donation?
You will receive a tax receipt for income tax purposes for both PayPal and check donations. Your credit card statements serve as an additional record of your contribution.
